Narita to Kawasaki - Economical Travel

[This is an unformatted and unedited article of an email I wrote to my friend].
OK. Your travel is fixed. You are traveling to Tokyo in another couple of days (or hours!)... You are landing in Narita Airport, Tokyo. And you always prefered an economical travel since you have enough time to reach office until the next day.
Many people ask me the same query - how to reach Kawasaki while spending as less as possible? Most convenient options have been to take a bus to YCAT or TCAT, then take a train from YCAT or TCAT to Kawasaki.
So, I made a small document to explain about how to travel from Narita Airport to Kawasaki and the most economical option I have found when traveling alone. It might be more economical to take a taxi if you are traveling in a group and going to the same place since you could always share the cost.
The following explanation may also depend on where you are going to land in Kawasaki. This also means that if you do not meet your budget in whatever explanation is given by me - it is all upto YOU. You will be the reason why you would spend more or lose many things in life or whatever happens to you - it all depends on you ultimately and not on the explanation below. Try it at your own risk :)

Enough - let me come to the point - here is my way:

Take a train from Narita Airport direct to Shinkawasaki Station. Take a taxi from Shinkawasaki to your destination in Kawasaki. Shinkawasaki is "near" Kawasaki station

You can take any train named "JR RAPID AIRPORT NARITA". It will cost you Yen.1450 from Narita to Shinkawasaki. And a taxi to Kawasaki station should cost you less than Yen.2000.
If you take another train, you have to wait somewhere in Chiba or Tokyo TO CHANGE TO THE SUBSEQUENCT TRAIN TOWARDS TOKYO. ASK for help if needed the extraordinarily kind Japanese will help you somehow.

TRIP 1:
=======
MEDIUM: JR "RAPID NARITA EXPRESS" TRAIN
BOARDING POINT: NARITA
DESTINATION: SHIN-KAWASAKI
COST OF TRAVEL: Yen. 1450 UNTIL SHINKAWASAKI
TRAVEL TIME: 1 hour 40minutes

TRIP 2:
=======
MEDIUM: TAXI
BOARDING POINT: SHIN-KAWASAKI
DESTINATION: KAWASAKI
COST OF TRAVEL: Less than Yen. 2000 to KAWASAKI STATION
TRAVEL TIME: 10 to 15min.
[Above costs are approximate since I have not traveled from ShinKawasaki to Kawasaki myself].

========== From Airport ===========
Once you are out of the airport:
GOTO “JR” TRAIN STATION BY FOLLOWING SIGN BOARDS. You have to walk a little bit to take the train.
“JR” TRAIN STATION ARE GREEN IN COLOR – THE SIGN BOARDS WILL HAVE GREEN COLOR “JR”.
VENDING MACHINE WILL ALSO BE IN GREEN COLOR IN 90% OF CASES. IN CASE OF DOUBT, ASK FOR “JR” STATION.

There are many different trains from there – like SKYLINER going to Tokyo. They are NOT JR RAIL NETWORK.
SO MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE JR train ticket only.
THERE ARE MANY OTHER TRAINS TO SHINKAWAKAKI – BUT WILL COST YOU MORE THAN DOUBLE. ONLY TAKE THE “JR RAPID AIRPORT NARITA”.
YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE SKYLINER OR NEX (NARITA EXPRESS).

Take the ticket from the vending machine. If uncomfortable ask station master.
If you cannot find the station, take the minimum ticket and just board the train.

FROM SHINKAWASAKI STATION, YOU NEED TO TAKE A TAXI AND SHOW HIM THE ADDRESS THAT WILL BE WRITTEN IN JAPANESE. IN WORST CASE, AT LEAST GIVE HIM A PHONE NUMBER THAT HE CAN TALK TO AND ASK FOR THE WAY.

You can get coins after you buy the train tickets. Or buy something from the vending machine so you will get some coins. Vending machines normally take only 1000 Yen notes.

At the time of this writing there is this following schedule for the JR RAPID Narita Express. For latest schedules, look here: http://www.hyperdia.com/ and choose "English".
